WHAT IS FAMILY MEDIATION?

Family Mediation applies the basic principles of mediation to the resolution of issues that arise in families.. The majority of Family Mediation has tended to focus on separation, divorce, common law unions and custody/parent plans.

The process of mediation can also be used to help individuals within families resolve a wide range of issues related to couples, siblings, adoptions, step/blended families parenting, extended families and eldercare.

Family mediation sessions are structured to address the issues unique to each family situation. This assures that all parties to the conflict will be heard and all needs addressed in a positive and satisfying manner.
